From day one, I knew exactly what I wanted to build.
A proper baddie.
Not just one hairstyle. Not one outfit. Not one look.
I wanted a character that could switch between black hair and red hair, loose hair and braids, different outfits, tattoos—the whole package. Someone who looked like the same person no matter how much you changed the styling.
On paper, it sounded great.
In practice...
I may have asked a Turbo model for a little too much.
The more variations I added, the more attention the LoRA demanded. Tiny details started competing with each other. Hair wanted to become something else. Tattoos occasionally negotiated their own placement. Every generation felt like it needed just a little more guidance.
For a while, I genuinely thought the project had failed.
Not because the LoRA was bad.
Because I was asking one model to do the work of several.
So I archived it and moved on.
Then one day, mostly out of curiosity, I paired it with It Girl Engine – 19 Alt.
That's when everything clicked.
It Girl Engine handled the realism, texture, and consistency.
This LoRA handled the identity, styling, attitude, and personality.
Turns out they weren't competing.
They were covering each other's blind spots.
The result was the character I'd been trying to build from the beginning.
Sometimes the best upgrade isn't replacing something.
It's letting two good ideas work together.
