I am admittedly kind of a noob at this, but if you enjoy my humble work, any donations are greatly appreciated: https://ko-fi.com/insult_to_ninjary
Your generosity helps me stay motivated to keep improving and to keep trying new things!
At a Glance:
Style: Anime/Illustration
Works with LoRAs?: It should (though maybe not perfectly with everything...)
VAE: vae-ft-mse-840000-ema-pruned is baked (but you can override if desired)
Clip skip: 1 or 2 (experiment with both!)
Hires. fix: use non-default upscaler; denoising strength 0.5 - 0.4
Description:
As the name implies, this model aims to produce a sort of vintage look for your images. I feel like it doesn't really give any specific vintage style or reflect any specific era, but it just gives kind of a general vintage vibe and feel.
As a note about clip skip, just speaking generally, clip skip 1 tends to want to produce images with more of the body visible when not specifically prompted (think like cowboy shot), and clip skip 2 seems to like to give upper body or portraits more often. This is not 100% of the time, but it's just my general observation after making the showcase images and not prompting for any specific framing. Of course, if you do prompt for a specific kind of framing, you'll probably be able to get it regardless of which clip skip you use, though it might still be useful to keep in mind the natural tendency of each clip skip in order to improve your chances of getting the proper composition you're after.
Troubleshooting:
Par for the course with SD1.5, you may experience some issues with anatomy - hands, fingers, general jank, etc. If you're running into problems, just try your best with all the usual fixes - different prompting, use a different VAE, try different clip skip values, use adetailer, inpaint, etc.
