Addison Rae Easterling, born October 6, 2000, in Lafayette, LA, is an American recording artist, actress, influencer, and dancer who initially rose to prominence through her dance videos posted on TikTok. After briefly studying broadcast journalism at Louisiana State University, she dropped out in 2019 to pursue her burgeoning social media career. She quickly amassed millions of followers and became a founding member of The Hype House, a collective of TikTok creators.
Rae’s success on TikTok led to various opportunities. She signed with a talent agency, secured endorsement deals with major brands, and co-hosted a podcast with her mother. In 2021, she made her acting debut in the Netflix film “He's All That” and released her first single, "Obsessed,” the following year. Her debut EP, “AR,” and a starring role in the horror film “Thanksgiving” followed in 2023. She also signed a publishing deal with Atlantic Records.
In 2024, her single “Diet Pepsi” became her first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. She further solidified her presence in the music industry by collaborating with Charli XCX on a remix of "Von Dutch" and making a surprise appearance at Coachella. Rae’s debut album, “Addison,” arrived in June 2025, preceded by multiple singles, including “Headphones On,” “High Fashion,” and “Aquamarine.” She is set to star in the upcoming animated action-comedy “Animal Friends” opposite Ryan Reynolds.
