My (ℝ𝕖𝕩𝕠's) initial impressions:

  • For photoreal: slightly better skin & anatomical precision. Not a huge difference, but a net improvement on the base models without any noticeable loss in quality.

  • For artsy gens: Better prompt adherence and a little more creativity. Again, not a huge improvement, but no loss in overall quality, either.

  • Because each quant weighs only 14 GB (both RAW and Turbo quants), it's a great choice for use with ComfyFlow/ComfyUI.

  • Doesn't add much if any "spice" on its own, so for extra spice, add your usual spicy LoRAs.

Kroma is a finetune of Krea 2, subject to the Krea 2 Community License.
