A vintage print style LoRA trained on pulp horror illustration, mid-century occult publishing, tarot card art, and retro comic composition. Bold ink lines, flat color, heavy distressing, panel borders.
Strengths: Wide scenes, environmental storytelling, iconic graphic layouts, skull imagery, occult symbolism, western landscapes, horror portraiture. Strong on no-human compositions; environments and objects are where it really shines.
Sampler: Euler a / Karras · CFG 6.5–7.0 · Steps 28–35
Higher CFG than most LoRAs, as it needs the guidance to assert the vintage aesthetic over the checkpoint's defaults.
Checkpoint changes the result significantly: (The following were used for gallery images:)
RAMTHRUST'S-NSFW-PINK-ALCHEMY-MIX - balanced, clean faces, recommended starting point
DaSiWa Epitaph Ecstasy - rougher, darker, more atmospheric. Drop CFG to 5.0–5.5
Event Horizon Anime - crispest linework, best for western and adventure
Color palette is your biggest creative lever. Arcana Press has no locked palette; name it and it goes there. red and black = horror. yellow and black = western/cosmic. blue and black = noir. green and black = surreal/botanical.
Distressing tags matter: color misregistration, heavy print distressing, aged paper texture, ink splatter at weight 1.2–1.3 are what make it feel genuinely vintage rather than vintage-inspired.
None of these are rules. Swap the checkpoint, ignore the palette, skip the distressing. Experiment freely and see what it produces for you.
