Kaiseki-inspired plating of eight fried tarantulas without batter, soft slightly collapsed fried texture with glossy surface, arranged on handcrafted ceramic plate in a Japanese ryokan. The arrangement is intentionally imperfect, with varied angles—some upright, some tilted, some resting on their side. Served with blanched spinach, daikon slices, and cucumber garnish. Dipping sauces: soy sauce, miso paste, matcha salt.
