This full-body, flat-style digital illustration portrays a heavy-set astronaut in a retro 1960s Apollo space suit dutifully pushing a vintage red manual push-mower across the desolate, crater-pocked surface of the moon. Puffs of fine lunar dust kick up from the spinning blades, and a small metal garden gnome stands planted proudly near a lunar lander. In the star-flecked black background, a stylized, perfectly round planet Earth hovers with comic simplicity. Thick outlines, a muted vintage color palette, and zero gradients give this surreal chore an earnest, deadpan humor.
