This vibrant, waist-up digital illustration shows a frantic French pastry chef frozen in shock against a solid pastel coral background. His magnificent curly mustache, eyebrows, and black apron are completely coated in an explosion of white powdered sugar, and a large, uncooked blob of dough has landed directly on his nose. His eyes are wide as saucers, and his tall white chef’s toque is tilted at an impossible angle. Clean, comic-style linework and flat, saturated fills emphasize the sudden, messy aftermath of an unchecked kitchen appliance.
